Stages of Making a Custom Stand

The process of creating an individual stand consists of several important steps:

1. Designing

The dimensions of the aquarium, its weight, and installation location are determined. At this stage, a drawing is created, taking into account openings for cables, filters, and ventilation.

2. Choosing materials

Strong chipboard or MDF boards are used for the frame, sometimes metal profiles. The surface can be finished with veneer, plastic, or moisture-resistant paint.

3. Frame assembly

The structure is reinforced with stiffening ribs to avoid deformation. Special attention is paid to the top surface — it must be absolutely even so that the aquarium does not crack.

4. Installation of doors and shelves

Compartments for filters, compressors, and food are created inside the stand. Ventilation openings are often added to prevent equipment overheating.

5. Final finishing

Sanding, painting, or laminating is performed. At the client’s request, decorative elements are added — lighting, glass inserts, metal handles.
