Furniture detailing is the process of developing and creating detailed drawings and specifications for furniture manufacturing. These drawings contain precise dimensions, materials, structural features, and other important details necessary for producing each furniture element. Detailing includes:
1. Detail drawings: creating precise diagrams of each furniture part.
2. Selection of materials: determining the type of wood, metal, fabrics, or other materials to be used.
3. Structural joints: description of methods for joining parts (for example, dowels, screws, glue joints).
4. Material cutting: calculation of the required amount of materials and methods of cutting them.
5. Fittings and accessories: selection and specification of all additional elements such as handles, hinges, locks.
