Material of manufacture:
The best choice is a structure made of solid wood (beech, oak, pine, maple, acacia). The first two options belong to hardwood species. Their advantage is increased resistance to moisture, mechanical damage, deformation. A bed made of beech or oak is a high-strength structure distinguished by reliability and durability. Models made of coniferous wood (for example, pine) fill the room with a unique forest aroma. Products made of walnut and alder are notable for their presentable appearance thanks to unique shades.
Dimensions of the sleeping place:
Depending on this characteristic, single, double, and one-and-a-half beds are distinguished. The dimensions of the sleeping place in the first case are 80–120 x 190–210 cm, in the second — 160–230 x 200–220 cm, in the third — 120–160 x 190–220 cm.

It can be a podium bed, a product on elegant legs, or a structure with the possibility of transformation. For example, during the day it can be folded into the form of a chair or wardrobe, and in the evening turned into a bed. For a children’s room, a model with two tiers is often purchased. It is designed for two children.

Type of headboard:
It can be classic (hard) or have a modern design. In the second case, the headboard is decorated with leather, eco-leather, leather substitute, or dense fabric.
